Sharp Unveils Next-Generation MFPs: The Smarter, Safer, Greener Choice for Modern Workplaces

London, Embargoed until 9 October 2025 – Sharp is excited to announce the launch of its new A3 MFP series. The A3 Colour devices are available from October 2025 with the Mono to follow in January 2026. These devices will unleash intuitive smart technology, powerful security, and eco-friendly innovation to supercharge this new era of smart working.
Replacing the current range, these new MFPs introduce a host of new features and design innovations, while retaining the reliability and ease-of-use customers expect from Sharp. With reduced TEC values,  use of up to 50% recycled plastics, and Microsoft Entra ID Authentication, this launch marks Sharp’s most significant A3 refresh in recent years.

Seamless productivity for smarter teams

The new devices are designed to deliver effortless productivity for hybrid work by combining speed, flexibility, and user-friendly design. Workgroups can rely on fast and consistent output, with print speeds of up to 65 pages per minute. While teams working across locations can benefit from faster scan capabilities that enable documents to be digitised and shared in seconds.
Personalisation is also built-in through the ‘My Favourite Colour Tone’ feature, which allows users to apply one of ten preset styles to their output for a tailored finish. All of this is brought together through a modern, intuitive interface that simplifies everyday tasks, making it just as easy to print from a mobile device as it is to integrate directly with cloud services.

Advanced security and reliability for modern workplaces

Cyber threats continue to grow in scale and sophistication, with only 15% of employees receiving security training specifically focused on printer security, according to a Sharp Europe survey. The new models are designed to boost an organisation’s confidence in the security of their workplace technology.
Microsoft Entra ID integration enables seamless, token-based authentication for Microsoft 365 users, helping to ensure that only authorised individuals have access.

In the event of a device firmware issue, automatic BIOS recovery quickly restores the device to a secure state, minimising disruption.

For organisations that require even stronger safeguards, an optional virus detection kit, such as BitDefender, adds further protection and monitoring activity to defend both the device itself and the wider business network.

Eco-efficiency meets high performance

The new range has also been engineered with sustainability at its core, ensuring businesses do not need to choose between performance and responsibility. Each device is constructed using around 50 percent recycled plastics, one of the highest ratios in the industry. They are also packaged without polystyrene, instead using 100% cardboard.

Energy efficiency has also been prioritised through reduced TEC values and a new power-saving mode, helping organisations cut both their carbon footprint and their operating costs. By combining advanced performance with greener design, the new MFPs reflect Sharp’s commitment to more sustainable workplace technology.

Commenting on the launch Ben Lake, Senior Product Manager at Sharp Europe says:

“The new A3 MFP series are more than just an upgrade. They represent a bold statement of where workplace technology is heading next. Businesses expect smarter workflows, stronger security, and enhanced eco-responsibility. With these new MFP models, Sharp is proud to bring together all three in one powerful, future-ready printing device.”
