The Interactive Touchscreen Table: Meet UP Edition is a dynamic, battery powered, mobile device ideal for care homes and social groups. The Meet UP makes it easy for users to interact with a wide range of technology. The table comes complete with an integrated Full HD resolution screen for the highest visual clarity, making it ideal for presenting slides, imagery and videos. The advanced P-CAP 10-point touch technology means that the screen can be used by several people simultaneously.

As well as lying flat as a table, the Meet UP can be tilted upwards to 68 degrees, enabling users to easily watch videos and interact with apps, resources and software available from the Google Playstore™. The Meet UP features a built-in Android PC, which allows the user to easily upload and display content. The WiFi feature makes streaming music and videos simple. There is also the option to plug in an additional Windows 10 PC, boosting functionality of the table and allowing users to utilise the full Windows 10 suite. With the inclusion of the Mini OPS slot, users have access to two innovative packages - Sharp’s Pen Software and Sharp Display Connect.

The Meet UP features wheels with lockable brakes so it be easily moved and secured safely into place. Its robust steel structure, sleek oak finish and toughened glass screen ensure the Meet UP can withstand intensive everyday use. The Meet UP is also on adjustable legs so it can be raised or lowered according to the user’s needs – great for both seated and standing users. The Meet UP also features a built-in battery pack that can keep the table charged for 8 hours – perfect for daily entertainment.

RemindMeCare App The RemindMecare (ReMe) app has been developed with person-centred care and dementia support in mind. The app provides residents with their own profile where they, or their carer, can upload details about their life, discover engaging content and record the day’s events and their feelings - allowing them to keep an interactive log of their lives which can be looked back on, and shared with love ones.

ReMe makes it possible to capture a rich outcomes-based data set from the various activities. Data is collected in the background of the app and is automatically to the individual’s personal profiles. The ReMe app also provides a range of other functionalities that are ideally suited to use on the Meet UP table, such as Skype for family connectivity, and a vast library of music and films. Music and discovery-based reminiscence therapies that can be personalised for each resident based on their interests recorded in their personal profile, ensuring a tailored experience.

Perfect for use with the Meet UP, RemindMecare is an intuitive app that is designed to enhance person-centred care for the elderly in care homes, day centres and care facilities. One key feature is the life story discovery programme - a powerful tool for dementia care patients. Centred around the individual, with the ability for family members to add imagery and video content, the care home residents can look back at key points in their lives and reminisce.
