Multifunction Printers
Multifunction printers (MFPs) offer the versatility modern organisations need, enhancing processes with intuitive interfaces, fast print speeds, and advanced security. Also known as all-in-one printers, MFPs combine printing, copying, scanning, faxing, and other features. Our wide range of MFPs are suitable for organisations of all sizes, from compact desktop printers to larger, multi-purpose printers with expandable trays.
With over 50 years of experience, we listen and understand, tailoring solutions to meet your exact needs, no matter their size or scale. And we back everything up with expert advice and support. Our Managed Print Services further enhance device capabilities, reducing administration, minimising costs, and boosting productivity.

What are Multifunction Printers and how do they work?
Our MFPs are laser printers, providing cost-effective toner cartridges, high volume and high-speed printing, and enhanced durability with less frequent maintenance. Laser printers use static electricity and laser technology to produce high-quality prints. A charged drum creates a pattern with a laser, toner sticks to this pattern, and the drum transfers the toner to paper, which is heated to fuse it permanently. The drum is then cleaned for the next print job, ensuring high-quality printing at rapid speeds.
All-in-one printers help your organisation work smarter by combining print (up to 90ppm), copy, scan (280ipm), and fax to maximise productivity. Also, most of these devices offer superior environmental performance with lower standby power consumption and a low TEC value. Energy efficiency is enhanced by low temperature-fusing toner, reducing energy consumption.
The differences between Multifunction Printers & all-in-one printers
- End user: MFPs are ideal for offices due to their enhanced speed, capacity, and reliability, while all-in-one devices suit home offices.
- Features: Both offer core functions (printing, copying, scanning, faxing), but MFPs include advanced features like cloud integration and stringent security.
- Performance: MFPs have higher printing speeds and greater reliability, designed for busy office environments.
- Size: All-in-one devices are smaller, fitting in limited spaces, whereas MFPs have expandable trays for high-volume printing.
Key benefits of Multifunction Printers
- Cost savings: Our devices are cost-efficient due to their low energy consumption and toner use. They streamline document management, reducing time and resources spent on handling documents.
- Time efficiency: With superfast printing speeds, high-capacity paper trays, and combining printing, scanning, copying, and faxing into one device, your team can quickly complete a range of tasks with ease.
- Enhanced security: Our MFPs feature strict security measures, including AES encryption, trusted and self-healing firmware, and full audit trail logging. We also offer additional security through Bitdefender, an award-winning anti-malware engine.
- Streamlined maintenance: Our Managed Print Services reduce waste and avoid on-site stockpiling with automatic toner replenishment. We also offer proactive maintenance, helping keep your printers and copiers in optimum condition.
Choosing your MFP paper format and colour specifications
With our broad range of multifunction printers, there is a perfect device for almost all organisations and applications. Our BP-70M65/BP-70M55 black & white MFPs are cost-effective for printing documents that don’t require colour, such as reports and invoices, with print speeds up to 65 ppm, ideal for law firms and accounting offices. In contrast, our BP-70C65/BP-70C55 colour MFPs are perfect for producing vibrant graphics and promotional materials, with a 6300-sheet capacity, making them suitable for design companies and educational institutions.
We also offer compact desktop office MFPs like the MX-B468F, ideal for environments where space is limited but multifunctionality is needed, such as receptions. Lastly, our light production printers, like the BP-70M90/BP-70M75, handle large print volumes efficiently and offer exceptional print quality, perfect for print shops and large corporations.
Cloud & Wireless LAN MFP options
Cloud-managed wireless networks are controlled and monitored through a cloud-based platform, like our Managed Print Services. This approach reduces the need for on-site IT staff and simplifies network management, whilst regular updates and patches ensure security and keep devices up to date. This solution is ideal for organisations with multiple offices or those preferring to outsource network management to reduce internal IT workload.
Wireless LAN connects devices to a local network without physical connections, offering direct control over the network infrastructure. This is crucial for security and simplifies connecting devices to the printer within the same network. This solution is favoured by organisations needing strict network control, such as financial institutions or single-office businesses.
Scalability and smart Print Management Solutions
Regardless of your organisation's goals and growth, we offer scalable print management solutions. Our MFPs feature touchscreens that run embedded software directly on the device. PaperCut MF, for example, authenticates and tracks print jobs at the server layer before they reach the MFP. It facilitates centralised administration with real-time reporting, secure print release, and group-based access controls.
Directprint.io eliminates the need for print servers or cloud-based infrastructure, saving time and costs. With secure directprint.io, users can retrieve prints from any device, ensuring flexibility and data protection. This software integrates with Google Workspace, Google ChromeOS, and Microsoft Azure Active Directory for streamlined user management.
