The Benefits of Privacy Buttons on Sharp BIG PAD Interactive Displays
All panels offer a Full HD (1920 x 1080-pixel) display resolution with 350cd brightness to guarantee that your content is displayed with great visibility, even in the most brightly lit of rooms. This helps to people to lead engaging lessons, collaborative meetings, and interactive sessions.
As part of a dynamic meeting, there will be times when the presenter will want to change the screen content, give control to another presenter, or simply get the audience to focus on discussion rather than looking at the screen. To make these transitions smooth and professional we have added Freeze-Frame and Blackout Buttons to the front of BIG PAD, giving the presenter more control.
For example, in a classroom, when a teacher wants to direct students’ attention away from the screen and back to their individual work they can press the Blackout button on the front of the bezel. This instantly switches off the display’s backlight without actually shutting the unit down.
Blackout also means that any content on the display can be instantly returned to by pressing the button again. This is smoother and faster than needing to turn the device off and back on again.
Similarly, we have added a one-touch Freeze-Frame button that allows content to be frozen on screen, while the presenter continues using a connected device without disturbing the audience.
For the presenter, this means they can work privately on any device they have connected to BIG PAD, without this work being mirrored on the display. What is shown on the display is frozen and remains static. This can be ideal in an education or training environment where a teacher or presenter wants to work in privacy without removing vital content from display.
