SHARP LAUNCHES FIRST 72 CELL MONO PV MODULE

London, 13-09-2017
Sharp Europe today launches its first monocrystalline 72 cell photovoltaic (PV) module: NUSC360 (360W). The high power, high efficiency solar panel is ideal for use in large-scale commercial installations, and marks Sharp’s increasing investment in the non-residential side of its Energy Solutions business.

The NUSC360 offers the highest power output in Sharp’s range of polycrystalline and monocrystalline modules, and is the first to feature innovative PERC (Passivated Emitter Rear Cell) technology. By employing two additional steps during the manufacturing process, the PERC architecture improves sunlight capture and optimizes electron capture.

This means that the new module can achieve higher efficiencies than standard modules, up to 18.5%, making it particularly suitable for large-scale roof top or ground mounted facilities that demand reliable, efficient energy supplies, such as solar parks, factories, or warehouses.

Safety and quality certified, the module is highly durable and can be used in cold regions subject to snow, having passed the snow load test according to IEC/EN61215 with 5400Pa.

The NUSC360 module is available to purchase across Europe, Middle East and Africa now. For more information, please visit www.sharp.co.uk/energysolutions or contact the Sharp sales team via SolarInfo.Europe@sharp.eu
