Sharp Completes A3 Colour MFP Line-Up with Four High-Speed Models

London, 21.09.2016
Sharp Europe has today introduced four new high-speed MFP models to complete its refreshed A3 colour line-up. The MX series now includes thirteen devices from 30 to 60ppm, with the latest additions offering the same flexible workflows and easy-to-use functions common to the whole range, plus the ability to handle higher volume print, copy and scan jobs quickly and efficiently.

Available in speeds of 50 and 60ppm, the MX-5050N and MX-6050N Essential models are adaptable devices that meet all standard print, copy and scan needs, and can be upgraded as and when a business demands. The 50 and 60ppm MX-5070N and MX-6070N Advanced models combine value-added features such as WiFi and cloud connectivity, and a motion sensor for quicker wake-up times, with a sophisticated solutions platform.

All four high-speed models feature a simplified user interface that is accessed via a 10.1” LCD touchscreen, an out-of-the-box pull printing solution, and the ability to replace toner and paper without stopping a print job, helping to maintain high levels of productivity in the office.

Rachel Dean, European Product Business Manager, said “Feedback tells us that features such as the standard pull-printing function and faster wake-up times have resulted in improved efficiencies for our customers, so by combining these features with high speeds, businesses are guaranteed optimum productivity for a wider variety of tasks.”

All four models are available now from Sharp partners across the UK.

Sharp’s complete MX series: features summary

STANDARD in all models
10.1-inch colour LCD touchscreen
The tiltable 10.1-inch LCD touchscreen with a simplified customisable User Interface, available across all A3 Colour MX models, makes it easy to perform basic tasks.
Print Release
Entry-level pull printing solution, which stores print jobs for authentication and release from up to five networked MFPs without the need for a print server. This means users don’t have to wait for an occupied MFP to become available.
Auto-eject toner
Gives control back to IT Administrators, who are able to set the toner level at which the print cartridge ejects; minimising user waste and making service agreements more efficient.

The MX series accommodates a wide variety of paper sizes, up to SRA3, and weights, up to 300 g/m2, offering a wider variety of print and finishing options than previous Sharp devices.
STANDARD in ADVANCED models, OPTIONAL in Essential models
Office Direct Print
Users are able to print Microsoft Office files (pptx, xlsx, docx) directly at the MFP via USB memory, ideal for off-site workers.
Wireless LAN
A wireless LAN adaptor coupled with the Sharpdesk Mobile Print/Scan application enables mobile workers to securely print to and receive scans from the MFP from anywhere with enabled smartphones and tablets.
Finishing solutions
A wide range of finishing solutions can be added, including saddle stitching, manual and stapleless stapling.
