Sharp today launches the BIG PAD PN-65SC1, its latest large format interactive display with a Mini Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) Expansion Slot. The new 65-inch entry-level model combines flexibility and connectivity with the functionality of the BIG PAD range to make collaboration in classrooms and meetings easier.
Sharp Appoints New CEO Europe
Sharp announces that Yoshihisa (Bob) Ishida, Executive Vice President, Sharp Corporation, has been appointed to the position of CEO, Sharp Europe. Mr Ishida takes over from Tetsuji (Ted) Kawamura, who will be moving to a position at Sharp Electronics Corporation (USA).

Sharp today introduces the Sharp Energy Shop for European installers and distributors, following a positive reception at Intersolar 2017. Customers are now able to buy PV panels and battery solutions directly from Sharp at their convenience - 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
SHARP LAUNCHES NEW BIG PAD WITH PRIVACY BUTTONS
Sharp has added two new privacy buttons to its latest BIG PAD interactive displays. The 70” PN-70SC5 and 80” PN-80SC5 include ‘Freeze Frame’ and ‘Blackout’ buttons on the bezel to give a presenter the ability to instantly freeze or blank the display while they work on their connected device, or prepare the content that they will show next. These new features have been added to give presenters more confidence to lead engaging, collaborative meetings.
