
This policy refers to products purchased online from this website only. If you purchased via any other route, please refer back to your retailer for advice.
What we will accept back as a return
In line with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, Sharp operates a 7 day no quibble cancellation and return policy for goods bought on the Sharp.co.uk website. Therefore if you wish to cancel your order and return any products for whatever reason, please contact us within 7 days of receipt of the products to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) Number and instructions for return.
Sharp may at its discretion accept products back outside the 7 day no quibble period if they are faulty. However we will not accept claims of damage in transit or products not meeting their description outside that period.
How to arrange a return
To obtain an RMA number please email us at ecommerce@sharp-uk.co.uk quoting your original order number and reason for return. We will respond confirming your RMA number and provide advice on how to return your product.
Your responsibilities
Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the products back to Sharp unless you are cancelling the order within 7 days because the products are damaged, defective or do not meet their description, in which case Sharp will arrange collection.
Regardless of the reason for return you are under a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession and during transport back to Sharp. Taking reasonable care means you must return the products to Sharp in 'as new' condition, in their original packaging, with any software provided still sealed and complete with any accessories and free gifts offered with them. If you fail to take reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession and return them to Sharp in a damaged state, Sharp may take action against you to recover any loss in value of the products arising from your breach of this statutory duty.
Refund arrangements
Provided the products are returned in 'as new' condition, Sharp will endeavour to provide you with a full refund of the purchase price and any delivery charges you initially incurred in getting the products to you, no later than 30 days from and including the day on which you notified Sharp of your intention to return the products.
