HD Explained
The screen of an LCD TV is made up of tiny dots known as ‘pixels’. The more pixels, the more detail.
HD Ready The entry level HD READY format has a resolution of 1366 x 768, giving a total of 3.15 million pixels.

Full HD Sharp also offers a line-up of FULL HD TVs with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, giving a total of 6.2 million pixels. This resolution matches the broadcast HD signal dot for dot, so there is no loss of picture quality, unlike standard HD Ready televisions.

1080p HD Ready The latest, most advanced standard today, perhaps confusingly, is called HD READY 1080p. In addition to the benefits of Full HD TVs, these models are also able to display Bluray output at its native output of 24 frames per second, creating the best cinematic experience for your home.
