Sharp has announced an innovative licensee scheme that offers the opportunity for people to run their own document solutions business. The scheme targets talented sales people currently working outside of the Sharp family who want to have their own business but lack the capital, experience or risk appetite to take the initial step.Sharp will help with initial set up of the company, and will then process orders for Sharp’s award-winning multifunction devices, printers, solutions and managed print services. Sharp will also provide servicing, and take care of billing and revenue collection. All profit above the base licensee price will go to the licensee.
A standout advantage of the scheme is that the customer and service bases will belong to the licensee. After three years, the licensee will be offered the opportunity to convert into a full dealership.
