Carbon Trust Standard

The Carbon Trust Standard certifies that an organisation has genuinely reduced its carbon footprint, and is committed to making further reductsions year on year.

Sharp has been officially certified with the Carbon Trust Standard which proves that real action has been taken by the company to tackle climate change by reducing the carbon emissions that we are directly responsible for rather than just paying others to off-set our emissions.

Some of the projects that have enabled us to be awarded the Carbon Trust Standard include energy saving initiatives, change of vehicle policy, recycling, and reducing the amount of packaging used.

Sharp is committed to ongoing emission reductions and the Carbon Trust Standard requires us to keep reducing our carbon footprint and to re-certify every two years so we keep on reducing our impact on the environment.
